The participants of the youth summit began the acquaintance with the Trans-Force complex with a virtual tour through Saint-Petersburg of the past and present. The tour ended with a little quiz by the history of G8. The second tour followed the first one, but this time it was a space journey – the children were presented one of Trans-Force educational programs devoted to astronomy. Having seen the sights of the Northern Capital after the underbridge tour, the young delegates met the moon-landing with a burst of emotional comments. Having learned the brief history of the birth of astronomy and space exploration, the children answered the questions of a new quiz. Just like the previous time, the discussion of possible answers was brisk, and each correct answer was greeted with enthusiastic cheers by all team members.
By the results of both quizzes, the first place took the team from the USA – the kids gave the majority of correct answers in the shortest time. The captain of Trans-Force space ship rewarded the winners with Trans-Force mementos and certificates of honour.
After the rewarding ceremony, the tour through the cities of the world came next. The J8 participants took a virtual journey through New York, San-Francisco, Hong Kong and Shanghai; they also dropped in the Antarctica. Having visited the most beautiful places of the Earth, the young delegates left for Happyland, to Koschey’s planet, where they were able to get out of the treacherous villain’s trap in a couple of minutes and return joy and fun to Happyland.
The cultural program ended with the Seryoga’s show within the limits of MTV action “Eight children. Eight presidents. One MTV!”. The rapper presented to the J8 participants his well-known hits as well as a couple of new songs.
On the way to the official J8 residence, the children were leaving Trans-Force with smiles on their faces and enthusiastic comments. Despite the fatigue accumulated by the night, the visit to the educational and information complex didn’t make anyone feel bored, no-one was indifferent.
