TECHNOLOGY
Originally Trans-Force technology emerged from the mainstream marine and aviation simulation industry and passed different stages of IT adaptation to suite the needs and requirements of highly-demanded entertainment and educational spheres. The primarily components of Trans-Force unique technology are:
- Real-time graphics and interactivity
- 3D high resolution projection system
- 180° panoramic screen
- Electric motion platform
Real-time Graphics and Interactivity
In contrast to 3D/4D cinemas, Transas technology is based on modeling the image in real time rather than recorded in advance (pre-rendered). This technology is called “real-time simulation”. The realistic perception is achieved with the refreshing rate (the speed of a single frame computing) no less than of 24 frames per second and with the superior resolution of 2500*1000 pix.
Real-time graphic approach has a great number of indisputable advantages. One of the most important is full interactivity, in other words the capability to interact with the virtual world. From a simple observer, the spectator turns into an active participant of the adventure getting involved in route decision-making, the steering, offering input in the spaceship systems and control of weapons.
Projection Systems
Trans-Force Projection System is able to produce a focused, bright and realistic picture on any type of surface of any size - both curved, domed or even irregular. The number of used projectors is defined only by the client’s desire and facility restrictions.
To create a continuous image across curved large-scale screen it is demanded the picture split into several segments. The unique Transas software makes linear correction of several images (to correct distortion caused by curvature of the screen) and connects segments without visible joints with 1-5° overlap.
Specifically in the Attraction 3D effect on curved 180° panoramic screen is created by 2 pairs of wide-angle projectors.
Trans-Force attraction uses the latest stereo technology – Infitec™ based on completely new technique of Wavelength Multiplexing. It delivers superior stereo separation without ghosting, very homogeneous and serene images (like in high quality mono projection) with full freedom of motion, independent of head tilt.
Screens
The size and the shape of the screen depends on client’s desire and facility restrictions. Trans-Force screens are equally effective for 2D and 3D projection and can be produced cylindrical up to 180° or even spherical.
Infitec™ stereo display technology makes it possible for the user to produce large-sized pictures on every white projection surface without using special projection screens (silver screens).
Electric Motion Platform
Electric motion platform is used only in Trans-Force Attractions. Fully dynamic motion system is electrically operated and can provide 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF).
Unique and reliable Trans-Force 6DOF electric motion platform is characterized by high performance, ease of use and single skill maintenance.
