Transas Group is presented by Trans-Force technologies
at the World EXPO 2008 Exhibition in Spain. EXPO 2008
is an international task-oriented exhibition. EXPO 2008
is devoted to problems of water resources and ecology. It
takes place in Zaragoza, Spain, from June 14th till September
14th, 2008.
On July 7, 2008, on the Russian Day the Pavilion of Russia
was visited by the Minister for natural resources and ecology
of Russian Federation and Vice-president of Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. Spanish delegation was presented by Spanish
government in Aragon, Consultant of the Aragon Government,
Director General of EXPO 2008 Administration, and Consultant
of Zaragoza Government.
In Russian Pavilion there were such Transas developments
as Water adventure attraction and Water wandering Café,
based on virtual reality technology, demonstrated among
other Russian unique exponents. Nikolay Lebedev, President
of Transas Group, made an excursion over Transas innovative
developments for the guests personally.
Water adventure attraction is an attraction with virtual
reality game. Attraction is formed in a cabin of modern
shuttle, making sea and underwater adventures. 12 seats
attraction makes 3-6 minutes sessions. During the edutainment
adventure all the participants move virtually for milliards
years ago to the prehistoric times to the moment of life
appearance on the Earth. Main feature of the attraction
is interactivity, 180° panoramic visualization, and motion
platform that makes you feel vibration, rolling and downfall.
Visitors of the Water wandering Café had a great possibility
to see an underwater world, physically being in the Café. Project
uses the latest technologies in the sphere of IT, 3D graphics
and sound effects, which make you feel on board ΰ
ship, flying through time and space. On a big panoramic
screen you could see modelled pictures of Russian territory
and underwater dipping.
On 3-4 of July, during the EXPO Transas Group presented
the new interactive attraction of virtual reality for the
entertainment market. The new attraction stands out for its
compact size (3.5 m high, 12 sq. m square), motion platform,
possibility of stereo, and unique set of 3D and 4D effects.
New product generated interest among potential customers,
including representatives of The Walt Disney Company who
visited Trans-Force in the Russian Pavilion. First deliveries
are planned for autumn 2008.
