Demonstrated to the President was a D category Mi-8 helicopter simulator, on which he together with a Transas pilot flied around the coast in the vicinity of the Adler airport, and at the end practiced a crash landing following the engine failure. A bit later, President Medvedev was at the helm of the marine navigational simulator, and participated in a rescue operation in the port of Novorossiysk. Also, the President displayed considerable interest in the Transas education and development recreation products. On board of the Trans-Force attraction, the President set out on a space trip during which he docked to the International Space Station, saved some stray spy-robots, repulsed an attack of asteroids, and at the end of the trip, safe-landed the shuttle on the Pacific Ocean. During the presentation in the Trans-Force interactive theatre, several fragments of educational and entertainment programs for children were shown to the President, who took an active part in the electronic quizzes and development games. During the conversation, the President noted that the multi-functionality of such complexes allowed high technologies to be used simultaneously for both, educational process and organisation of the leisure. President Medvedev, highly appreciated Transas Group solutions in the sphere of education and entertainment emphasizing the splendid visualization effects and deep immersion in the subject thus studied. The combination of education process with entertainment improves the motivation for obtaining knowledge: the student perceives the education process as a fascinating game, whereas the interactive team-contests keep attention and interest alive. At the end of the visit, during the meeting with Transas employees, Dmitry Medvedev offered the following comments: “We should make every effort to turn the rust-covered engine of our economy towards the innovations and hi-tech systems, like we saw here in your company…. I really liked everything. To be honest, I didn’t expect to see anything like this… I knew that you have all kinds of interesting things here…., - this is really very impressive. Well done… Transas is certainly a unique company, my congratulations to you all”. |
